These workers are continuing to put up a sheet metal-like exterior wall around the back and sides of the building. The two men on the lift looked like they were using a special nail gun to brace the wall to the frame.

This is a picture of the steel interior framing that looked to be almost complete. There were a few workings putting some finishing touches on the frame, but most of the work was focused on the exterior

Excavation

This is a picture of some excavation going on about 100 yards away from the building. The two excavators working on this site seemed to be digging pipe trenches.

Unit Cost Estimate

this is the unitcost estimate for the building in roanoke. Its a summary of all the various materials that went into building the walls and foundations listed per unit. The layout allows for information to be gained about any one specified type of material from price to the type of construction crew that would be performing the work.

Estimating

this estimate includes cost of material and the estimated price of what it would cost to have the sed material installed. The most difficult part of creating the assembly take off estimate was deciding which material to use, because so many seemed to be the same, yet with slight variations. However the prices were not too different from each other so hopefully it wouldn't matter for just an estimation, but knowing the exact specifications for the detail plan was hard to obtain.

Masonry Wall

This is a masonry wall that is reinforced with a CMU back up wall. Between the brick and CMU wall there is a layer of unsulation and a drainage cavity.
